Watches: Let's talk about how much goes to charity

Minuteman often talk about the fact that part of the proceeds from each watch we sell goes to charity. But as we are not a non profit we don't post details about this. No doubt you're wondering just how much goes to charity. For those that are interested here is a run down of the charities we are raising funds for now and how much is going to them.
First let's look at Team Rubicon and the current A11 based Team Rubicon. If you are not familiar with this charity please go to https://teamrubiconusa.org/and read about who they are and what the do.
Here is some info from their site.
" Team Rubicon focuses on serving vulnerable and at-risk populations affected by disaster. While the initial damage and trauma of natural disasters will impact any population regardless of socio-economic factors, the financial burden of recovery and rebuilding has dramatic and long-lasting repercussions on many rural and urban populations lacking proper insurance and public and private resources."
We encourage all of you to visit their site and learn more. Also if you're not interested in buying a watch from us please consider simple donating direct to them.
For each TR A11 we sell at the current price of $210 we send $35 to the charity. We typically send funds as the sales orders come in. Thus the charity can start using the funds right away. Most companies will at most donate 10% of the purchase price to a charity. At this time there are is just one TR A11 left. We might not offer any additional so if you want one don't wait.
For the Minuteman Parker series of watches we're raising funds for charity Homes For Our Troops.
Here is some info about this great charity from their site.
" Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a publicly funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post – 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents out of every dollar spent has gone directly to our program services for Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives."
We encourage all of you to visit their site and learn more. Also if you're not interested in buying a watch from us please consider simple donating direct to them.
For each Minuteman Parker sold at the current pre sale price we send $50 to the charity. To check out all of the versions of our Minuteman Parker click the picture below.
